Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable

This year, Tec Control introduces a new 8K compatible range of optical cables that embrace The latest HDMI 2.1 standards and HDCP 2.2 protection. The new specifications allow 8K@60Hz video data at the outstanding speed of 48 Gbps.

Four FRL for Video Data

In the HDMI 2.1 standard, the video data can now be transported through 4 channels called FRL (Fixed Rate Link) up from 3 TMDS in the previous HDMI standards. That increases the maximum speed for data up to 48 Gbps Additionally, the HDMI 2.1 includes smart functions that transport information both ways for communication.

Variable Refresh Rate

VRR refers to a gamer feature that lets the display to adapt its refresh rate dynamically to the video source. When the source suffers from a frame rate drop, this mode will eliminate the picture judder and tearing that should appear.

Quick Media Switching

QMS is the long-awaited feature that ensures a smooth transition between different input resolutions or refresh rates and eliminating the too well known audio video blackouts.

Auto Low-Latency Mode

When enable, ALLM will allow a game console or a computer to automatically switch the HDMI display into the best gaming mode. This feature will reduce in game lags and improve interactive activities such as karaoke, virtual reality or video conferencing.

Quick Frame Transport

QFT is a new option that will accelerate the transport of the video frames through the HDMI communication ports, ultimately reducing the latency in game.

Solid but still flexible

Thanks to the use of high quality optical material, our cables can be safely pulled through electrical conduits with a 150 Newton force, additionally the bending radius of 6 cm greatly eases the passage of the cable, even in torn flexible conduits.

Two-Ways HDMI-CEC and eARC

Our cables support HDMI-CEC and the eARC. HDMI-CEC is also called HDMI control and provides basic remote functions through HDMI such as switch On/Off, volume control, etc. eARC is the enhanced Audio Return Channel. It can be used to record audio directly from the other HDMI devices. The eARC can now transport high quality audio channels and complex encodings such as DTS:X or Dolby Atmos.
