battery powered riaa tube preamp

Category:

Description

AudioValve will be released in the spring of 2019 with a new phono preamplifier. The magazine HIFI – STARS will be the first to report about it. This new product is based on our legendary phono stage SUNILDA with tubes – but is operated in this version completely AKKU. And that ‘s the new thing, a battery operated phono tube preamp. The idea is not new, but what is new is that today we have correspondingly powerful batteries that allow us to hear about the record for a long time. I already hope to have the first sample ready for demonstration on the Norddeutsche HIFI days – Room 132. With this new construction, the topic “sensitive to hum” has become a thing of the past, among other advantages.

The batteries supply both the heating of the tubes as well as the switching power supplies for the anode voltage. Each channel is thus self-sufficient battery powered. There is no conventional power supply more – even no power jack. A commercially available mobile phone charger charges the batteries after use of the preliminary stage. This unit is thus more or less completely network independent.

For all technical information, please refer to the “SPECS” under SUNILDA!
