With 16ch decoding and upmixing of the most sought after immersive surround formats, such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D, there is also up to 32ch of post-processing including the latest Dirac Live Bass Control module for multiple subwoofers and the state of art StormAudio Expert Bass Management with its multiple bass zones definition and selective bass routing. Like its big brother MK2, the ISP MK1 provides the best sound performance in any theatre without the installer needing to be an expert in room acoustics. 
This is the product StormAudio introduced its proprietary modular platform and started building its reputation for modularity and flexibility with multiple hardware and software options available. Whether you need more channels of analog XLR outputs or digital AES/EBU (up to 32ch) or you need to interface with audio over IP AES67 networked devices, you will always find the right optional module to satisfy your needs.
Key differences with our latest MK2 product line are the fact the MK1 only renders up to 16 different native channels (currently 24 for the MK2) and doesn’t support DTS:X Pro and IMAX Enhanced. The MK2 also introduced a new proprietary analog/digital hybrid volume adjustment maximizing the dynamic range and a new XLR input.
The rest of the features are software based and compatible with both MK1 and MK2 platforms. Our acclaimed user-friendly web-based interface that allows for a full configuration in only a few steps, the StormRemote iPad control application, the control system drivers to facilitate the ISP integration in any advanced theatre design, the ROON ready integration, Dirac Live with Bass Control, StormAudio’s Expert Bass Management… all this is included in all StormAudio products, MK1 or MK2!
